JOSEPH A. PRIM, JR. is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University School of Law. Mr. Prim has been representing parties in litigation for more than 30 years; although he has represented parties in other matters involving substantial injuries, he has been concentrating his practice in workers’ compensation matters for 20 years. He has spoken on ethical concerns and hearsay before the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association and before the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association for CLE credit. He has lectured on workers’ compensation matters before groups such as the Pennsylvania Bar Association at the annual Section meeting. He is a former law clerk to the Honorable Edward W. Furia, U.S. Magistrate for the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Mr. Prim served as counsel for the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Procedural Rules Committee, as well as chair of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association, its Subcommittee on Ethics, and the Subcommittee on Local Procedure. He most recently served as co-chair of the Bar Association’s Solo and Small Firm Committee and the treasurer of the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
